I'm no teacher or critic of literature. I am a writer of creative prose. A translator of experiences. I believe a writer is born, not created. He writes with the natural ease of fruit ripening on a tree. The first tree shoot that bursts out of the confines of the earth, bears the promise of that fruit.
I feel I owe everything to my surroundings... my people.
Which includes my style its simplicity, innocence, and
power. They gave it to me as naturally as freshly
squeezed juice at a cane plantation.
I say, always take the pathways. Roads are for traffic...
headed towards fixed destinations. Pathways are for
people... to explore the unknown.
The story often unfolds as you write.
Characters act on their own volition. At least...
you must trust they would do so.
